FAQs

Any questions you may have will be answered below!

Can individuals sign up, or is this team-only?

This invitational is team-only registration. You must register as a complete team with a minimum of 6 players. We do not match individual players with teams.

What skill level is required?

This is a competitive invitational designed for experienced teams. We recommend teams with regular practice schedules and competitive match experience. If you're unsure, consider whether your team regularly plays in competitive leagues or tournaments.

What happens if we win our city?

City champions automatically qualify for the Toronto Championship Final. Your team will compete against other teams across Canada for the national title. Travel to Toronto for the championship is the team's responsibility.

Can we bring substitute players?

Yes. Your roster can include up to 12 players. All players must be registered before your first match. Roster changes after the first game require approval.
If your team wins, you must have at least 3 players on your roster who have competed in the seeding tournament to compete in the invitational.

What if our team can't attend all rounds?

Teams must commit to the full championship schedule for their city. If your team cannot attend all scheduled rounds, we recommend waiting for a future season.

Is there a refund policy?

95% refunds are available up to 7 days before your city's first round. After that, registration fees are non-refundable but can be transferred to another team if you find a replacement.

When and where are the matches?

City seed rounds take place from January to March 2025. The Toronto Championship Final is in April 2025. Specific venues will be communicated in offical tournament promotions.

Is this co-ed or gender-specific?

The 2025 Javelin Invitational is open division. Teams may be composed of any gender combination. Future seasons may include gender-specific divisions based on demand.
