Burpees are helpful when you want a boost of energy! They make great morning workouts. All you have to do is stand straight, kneel down with your hands, hop into a plank position, jump back into a curled position, and jump with your hands up high! This technique is great for when you're feeling groggy or tired from the night before and helps get your blood flowing throughout your body.
I'm sure we have all heard of push-ups before. You know, that dreaded workout we had to do at the start of gym class. Push-ups are a great addition to any upper body workout routine. Start in an upright plank position, then slowly bring your chest to the floor, and back up again. An easy workout you can do anywhere.
If you are looking to build up your core muscles, the plank can definitely help with that. Start by placing your arms flat on the ground and extending your legs behind you, try and keep your body as straight as possible. The longer you hold this position the more you are going to feel it activate your core strength. This might not be the most romantic workout on this list, but it will definitely help get you to where you want to be.
