NFL Week 8

Week 8 of the NFL season has concluded, and we are approaching the halfway point of the season. We are beginning to get a feeling of what the playoffs will look like, and we are getting a feel of who are contenders and who are pretenders.

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the New York Jets 35-9, keeping the Jets winless through 8 games. On the other hand, the Pittsburgh Steelers remain perfect, beating divisional rival Baltimore Ravens in a close 28-24 game. The Tennessee Titans and the Green Bay Packers, who were both favourites against their opponents, were upset and recorded their second loss of the season. The Denver Broncos were able to complete the comeback against the Los Angeles Chargers, scoring 21 in the fourth quarter, to win the game 31-30. Finally, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers avoided a scare against the New York Giants, winning 25-23, kicking a late field goal, and preventing the giants from converting their 2-point conversion.
