Javelin Sports is a startup that provides web and mobile league management solutions to help sports organizations improve their organization and communication. In light of the COVID-19 global pandemic, Javelin Sports was able to help The Provincial Women’s Softball Association of Ontario with their new Health Check.
How Javelin Helps PWSA
PWSA plays a large role in organizing women’s softball across Ontario, dealing with over thirty clubs and thousands of players. This season, their main challenges have been facilitating women’s softball in a safe manner and sharing key health information with their coaches. Some of the unique solutions provided by Javelin include:
Javelin Sports’ Health Screening process aids over 3,000 PWSA parents and players to confirm their health status before all softball games and processes over 6,500 checks per month digitally.
PWSA is able to reduce organizational liability through Javelin Sports’ mandated waiver signing process. This helps each club under PWSA protect their organization's risk amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
Easy Setup Process
In order to make the onboarding process more efficient, Javelin Sports contacted all PWSA coaches and sent them video instructions of how to set-up their teams and utilize Javelin’s health screening process effectively.
